The Blessed is a Southern Gospel singing group that was formed in 1996. The group consists of 3 members - Ralph Patrick, Doris Patrick and Buddy Meeks.
Ralph plays the piano and they also use accompaniment tracks sometimes. The group has been blessed to have Buddy and Ralph writing some of the lyrics that we minister with thru song.
The Blessed has sung in many different places. We have sung at churches, benefits, local community/school activities, grand openings of businesses and homecoming functions. We have been blessed to travel to many different states: Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida and Tennessee. The group wants to continue to minister thru song at any function where the Lord is the main guest.
Our goal is to tell people about Jesus Christ, the most wonderful Savior and personal friend that we can have. We hope that you can see Christ thru us the way we feel him in song.
